How to Participate

Participants may upload their email address book on to the site and send out the personalized email to family members, friends, and associates. This can be done on the participant’s computer at home or in private. That way, the email addresses will remain confidential until an email recipient makes a donation. The email recipient will be asked to donate what they can online to help reach the sender’s goal.
When the recipient makes a donation, he/she receives an immediate acknowledgment for the contribution. For example, when the recipient makes a $25 contribution toward a goal of $1,000, he/she is immediately thanked by the sender and advised that the sender is $25 closer to reaching his/her goal. The entire online process is automated.
The board or staff member that garners the most giving participation in the Stop the Blindness Campaign will receive an award at Prevent Blindness Tennessee's Celebration of Sight Gala 2008.
