Tampa, FL--Light the Night for Sight, Walk & Family Festival 2010 is Prevent Blindness Florida's annual walk event and premier fundraiser. Participants include corporate teams, families, friends and neighbors who are active in the community and care about saving sight. Proceeds go directly to the programs and services of Prevent Blindness Florida. 

This year's walk marks the 12th anniversary of the event and will be held on Friday, April 23rd at Channelside Bay Plaza located at 615 Channelside Drive in Tampa. Walk is along the Tampa Riverwalk.  

The walk begins in the early evening.  The backdrop, a gradually darkening sky, illustrates the darkness that can result when an accident or disease steals sight.  Walkers celebrate the event through the use glow sticks. This beautiful venue makes it a fabulous event for the entire family. Come & join the Fun!
