Fee to See 2008

Please Join Prevent Blindness Tennessee's 2008 Fee-to-See Campaign!

Our Fee to See participants need your help.  Their vision has been temporarily impaired to simulate diabetic eye disease, and they won’t be able to see clearly again until they raise a Fee-to-See.

What has happened to their sight, you ask? Our participants have "adopted" diabetic retinopathy, one of the most important causes of vision loss and blindness in the United States and around the world. Twenty-four million Americans have diabetes, 8% of the population as a whole, and 25% of adults over 60. All of them are at risk for vision loss.

Our Fee-to-See participants have joined the campaign to help raise money for Prevent Blindness Tennessee’s programs and services. With every donation to Fee-to-See, their eyesight gets better in knowing that they are helping those who don’t have access to adequate eye healthcare receive the vision services they need.

Each Fee-to-See parcipant has 30 days to raise $1,000 (or $500) in order to regain their sight. While their sight loss is simulated, there are countless others who are not as fortunate. Join them in helping to save the sight of a child or adult in need by making your online gift of $25 or more today.

Together, we can keep the SEE in TennesSEE!
